On behalf of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, H.E. Mr. Coffie Alain N. Papatchi, Ambassador of Cote d’Ivoire to China and the his party from the Embassy signed the Agreement with China World Peace Foundation on setting up the China-Cote d’Ivoire Friendship Association on Dec. 16, 2011. Thus the China-Cote d’Ivoire Friendship Association is formally established.
After the signing ceremony, both sides have exchanged ideas on the implementation, operation, cooperation and projects. Both sides agreed that the purpose of the Friendship Association is to promote the friendly cooperation and exchange between the government and people of China and Cote d’Ivoire at social, cultural and economic area to make contribution to the friendship between the people of China and Cote d’Ivoire for the generations to come.
