On May 18th, 2019, Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation (BJIPCF) held Strategic Development Seminar of BSN in Beijing Peace Garden Museum. Dr. Li Ruohong, President of  (BJIPCF) invited Ms. Annette Nijs,President of Global Executive Board of BSN to preside the Seminar. Once a member of Foreign Experts Council of PRC, Ms. Annette Nijs has been committed to strengthen the cooperation between China and Europe and provided strategies for decision-makers of Chinese Government.

Ms. Annette Nijs said BSN built its campuses in China to serve as the bond of investment between Chinese enterprises and international enterprises and actively helps the SME entrepreneurs to seize the international opportunities. BSN is focusing on its globalization and speeding up the development of think tanks of technology R&D and application. She hoped that the experts in the Seminar can pool their wisdom on those aspects.

Dr. Li Ruohong talked about many cases of comprehensive cooperation between education institutes and public welfare organizations, China’s NGOs experiences on international and inter-government governance and public welfare’s roles in “B&R”cultural development and youth study in his speech.

Wang Jianzhou, Former President of China Mobile provided his suggestion on BSN’s  curriculum that BSN should have study of business sustainable development and social responsibility. It is urgent to set up quality standard for business and develop the social responsibility. And it is important for Chinese enterprises to gain the trust of their counterparts of “B&R”projects. Business also should learn how to build their ecological system. BSN should improve its own enterprise competition theory.

Dr. Wang Zhongmin, Former President of National Council of Social Security Funds said BSN should cultivate new ideas of entrepreneurship and innovation, develop new ways of learning and vehicles for technology innovation and application to help improve the curriculum of BSN.

Mr. Wang Nianning, Foremer Director of Philosophy and History Research Bureau of Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee admired the courage of BSN for its involvement in the “B&R”Initiative and shared his views on “B&R”’s influence on the steady development of China, European and world economy from the perspective of a witness of “B&R”policy.

Dr. Wang Xiaohong, Associate Editor of “Globalization” pointed out that China’s rapid economic development has a high demand for international foreign investors. Netherlands has the great development space in cooperation between China and European and China’s Reform and Opening up and promising future in the role of serving the Chinese enterprises’ “Go Global” and “Bring in” of foreign enterprises.

Experts discussed how China’s “B&R” Initiative better promote the economic and enterprises and the design for the BSN curriculum against the backdrop of China-U.S. frictions in the Seminar. Ms. Annette Nijis presented the certificates of appointment of director of Global Executive Board of BSN to Dr. Li Ruohong.And other experts were appointed as professors of BSN.

Mr. Ali, Chief of the History and Memory Section for Dialogue of UNSECO and Coordinator of Silk Roads Project of UNESCO made the conclusion of Seminar and provided his suggestion of think tanks of BSN from the perspective of UNESCO.

May 18th is also the “International Museum Day”and during this period, Conference on Dialogues of Asian Civilizations. Historical and cultural relics of and collections of museums of different Asian counties  were shown in Beijing. International officials, entrepreneurs and scholars attending the Conference also visited the exhibition of excellent works of International Youth Photo Contest and exhibition of ten sections of “An Interactive Atlas of Cultural Interactions along the Silk Roads ” in the Beijing Peace Garden Museum. They praised that collection of Peace Garden Museum is the miniature of China’s Reform and Opening up.
