On the afternoon of July 18, economic counselor of the Pakistani government and Dr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation,and Ms. Helen,leader of Beijing Time as well as international volunteer colleagues renewed the friendship with Mr. Lahore Tariq in the “Belt and Road”Ambassador Village in Peace Garden. Mr.Tariq, who is a diplomat from the Pakistani embassy in China with completion of his tenure and will be transferred to the European Union. All the people recalled many wonderful collaboration moments between the foundation and the Pakistani government and embassy in China over the years. Mr. Tariq thanked President li Ruohong for his special contribution to China-Pakistan friendship and the China-Pakistan Cultural Corridor. As we all know,the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) serves as  a product of connectivity of two countries. 

They also exchanged views on promoting cooperation among South Asian countries and facilitating world peace.The issues in South Asia should be refined. Mr.Tariq said that peace and development are the main themes of the world and maintaining world peace is the unshakable  responsibility of every country. He also analyzed the current situation in Pakistan and believed that there is great space for the development of tourism, manufacturing, education and media industries, providing opportunities for the future cooperation between China and Pakistan.President li hoped that Mr. Tarik could intensify Eurasian cooperation on climate change, science and technology and popularize the “Interactive Cultural Atlas of Cultural Interactions along the Silk Road. They gave each other exquisite picture books at their parting.
